The Demonic Ritual (Chapter 1)

It has been a few days since that ritual took place, and I was still in utter disbelief. We had sworn to chase away the demons, but now they had taken away every single dark lucario in the clan. It was far too dangerous for me to even step foot into what was now their territory.

It was becoming more and more dangerous as they captured more dark lucario and immediately converted them into demonic dark lucario. Yet, they held one dark lucario captive and have done nothing to him. I wish I could say that I'm relieved about that, but that dark lucario happens to be the new leader's friend. I've met him a few times and he's a nice guy, but it would pain me more than the leader if he was converted... To something potentially worse.

I had to wait until the night approached, because that was when the demonic beings went off to convert more dark lucario. That left the captive unattended, a perfect chance for me to free him and make haste to escape.

Night soon came, as well as my chance to free the captive. I had my dark cloak ready, just in case if there were a few who stayed behind. Turned out that my precaution was going to beneficial to me. There were a few demons patrolling the area, but none were near the cage. I silently spoke a dark aura spell as I quietly lifted the dark cloak over me, soon letting it fall onto me. I was now invisible to everyone around me, not even my dark aura could be felt through this cloak.

I could hear some conversation between a few of them as I was sneaking by them. They were talking about what do to with their captive. I didn't like what I heard, and it just added up to why I was going to release him. Once I reached the cage, I lift the cloak enough to let the dark lucario recognize me. I managed to break the lock and set him free, and then I handed him a dark cloak and used the same spell to activate it and we both escaped unnoticed.

I could see the fear in his eyes as we ran off to a safe area in the dark aura woods. And once we have reached the safe zone, we settled down and I answered the questions that he had. He understood, and I promised him that I would stop this catastrophe of sorts. I also swore that I would protect him from being converted. I just hope it can be stopped before it spreads too far.
