The Mysterious Darkness -Chapter 1-

Chapter 1... The sudden occurrence


Time is a wonder... Time is a object of limitations, as we can do only so much in one day. What if that time was used to help those in need? This time was a time where two friends met with someone from the future to stop what occurred to be a disaster that had happened... and prevent it from getting any worse...


Place: the home of Aurabane, Shadowbane, and Aurora; Time: 2:00 P.M.

Shadowbane was outside enjoying the warm, sunny weather with every mile of nothing but blue sky above him, it always brought happiness to him as if it was something he had never experienced before "This is a wonderful day" he thought to himself, looking up "I'm so grateful to be here..." He then looked down at the water, recalling to himself of his past "If it wasn't for Aurabane, my brother, I wouldn't be seeing this kind of wonderful nature." Little did he know, was that something was going to happen when the night approached.


Shadowshifter's home; Time: 7:00 P.M.

Meanwhile, in the dark aura woods, Shadowshifter was relaxing in his bed... With an ongoing thought roaming in his mind "Why do I feel like something wrong has happened?" That's when he heard the phone ring, with Shadowbane's name appearing on the display screen... "I wonder what Shadowbane wants..." Shadowshifter thought quietly... He knew that Shadowbane often doesn't call around this time, so Shadowshifter figured something was going on. He picked up the phone, and Shadowbane almost immediately asked Shadowshifter a question before Shadowshifter could even ask 'hello'. "No... I haven't seen Aurabane all day..." Shadowshifter responded "Yeah, you're right... It's not like him to be gone all day... I'll be over tomorrow morning." And that's exactly where he went.


Shadowbane's place; Time: 9:45 A.M.

"I'm glad that you came, Shadowshifter..." Shadowbane said "I just heard from Aurora." Shadowshifter then was concerned "Is she alright?!" "Yes... She's fine, as well as Alice... But she said that Hypher has been acting rather cruelly... And she doesn't know why..." Shadowbane then looked down "Aurabane has been the same... his eyes were strangely showing darkness... I just don't know what could be wrong." Shadowshifter then spoke "Erica has mentioned that she's noticed Aurabane's and Hypher's strange behavior... It just doesn't add up." Just then, they heard a strange voice from behind them...
